If you're having problems logging in to the Skip app, the steps below resolve most issues. Work through them in order — most people are back up and running after updating the app and clearing its stored data.
1. Update the app
Make sure you're running the latest version of Skip. Open the Google Play Store, search for Skip, and install any available update.
| ℹ Tip: You can check your installed version on the app’s Storage screen (shown in Step 2) — it’s listed directly under the Skip name. |
2. Clear the app's storage & cache
Clearing the app's stored data removes outdated or corrupted information that can block sign-in. Follow the numbered steps below — each one matches a marked screenshot.
Exact menu names vary slightly between Android phones, but the path is the same.
- Open Settings, then tap Apps.
- Find and select Skip in the list of apps.
- On the App info screen, tap Storage.
- Tap Clear cache first. If you still can't log in, tap Clear data.
- If clearing data, confirm by tapping Delete in the pop-up.
1. Tap Apps | 2. Select Skip | 3. Tap Storage | 4. Clear cache / data | 5. Confirm Delete |
| ⚠ Clearing data signs you out. You’ll need to log back in to Skip afterwards, so have your login details handy. Your orders and account are safe — they’re stored on your Skip account, not just on the phone. |
3. Restart your device
Powering your device off completely can help resolving issues if the above doesn't resolve your issue. Power it off after completing the above, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on and try logging in again.
