Inside of your store's normal trading hours there may be a need to temporarily close your store on Skip to avoid orders being processed, ie. power outage, capacity issues, etc. The extended closure function can be used to close your store on Skip for a period of time until the issue is resolved.

Changes to your trading hours, adjustments for public holidays or other changes, should be made in your Skip Business Account or via Doshii for integrated stores. You can set your store as closed temporarily via your Merchant Dashboard.

On your Merchant Dashboard, tap the OPEN control button:
Toggle the Extended Closure function to active:
The OPEN control button will now reflect the closed status of your store:
This status will also be displayed to your customers and will not allow any new orders to be placed until your store is re-opened.
The Extended Closure function will remain active until toggled to the off status so remember to to complete this step so as to not miss out on orders or upset your customers, when you're back and ready to receive orders.
