**Please note this is a beta feature and is being improved regularly. Please contact Skip for more information and the latest offering.
Skip offers a delivery feature that can be enabled on your account, allowing you to offer delivery using your own drivers or riders.
You can choose how you'd like to offer orders - pickup only, delivery only, or both pickup and delivery depending on what suits your venue best.
Once delivery is activated, your customers will see all the key details needed to place an order, including:
-
Estimated delivery time
-
Delivery fee
-
Minimum spend
We'll also collect any required information from the customer to help ensure a smooth delivery experience.
These details are confirmed in the cart at checkout.
If pickup is selected, this is also displayed.
Once the order is placed, you will receive them as per your normal method but with the delivery information.

Once the order has been completed, it can be recalled on the Completed tab on the dashboard:
Customer contact information
Customers placing a delivery order are required to enter their mobile number at checkout. This number will be shared with your store only for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
Flat delivery fee for all deliveries
A fixed delivery fee is applied across all delivery suburbs, making pricing simple and consistent for your customers.
List of suburbs for delivery
The suburbs you provide act as a guide for your customers, helping them quickly see if delivery is available in their area.
Minimum order value for each suburb
To help manage delivery costs, you can set a minimum order value for each suburb. For example, with a flat $5 delivery fee, you might set a $15 minimum for nearby areas and $30 for suburbs that are farther away.
Estimated delivery time for each suburb
Estimated delivery times for each suburb help customers understand how long their order may take to arrive. These should reflect the average travel time from your store to the suburb. The delivery time is added to your store’s minimum pickup time - so if you adjust your pickup time during busy periods, the delivery time will automatically adjust as well.
Delivery preference and turning delivery on and off
The presets that you provided above can be selected by selecting the delivery button in the menu:
You can provide different preference sets for different use cases for your store and you can select each or turn off delivery on demand:
When the delivery function is turned off the option will not be available to your customers:
This feature can also be used in conjunction with our catering or scheduled ordering feature.
Want to offer delivery to carpark or kerbside? We can adjust the required fields to capture car registrations/colour.
