This function can be used by stores using Skip's leased printer via the dashboard app as well as stores using a tablet to receive orders.
Store hours are set for each day of the week via your Skip Business Account but when you have an extended closure period or need to close your store during normal trading hours, the extended closure function can be used make this known to your customers and to avoid orders being received when you are unable to fulfil them.

- Regulatory closure requirement
Steps to close your store for an extended period of time during normal trading hours:
- Tap the Shop OPEN / CLOSED button
- Toggle the Extended closure button
- Your store will remain closed even if your usual trading hours would mean you are open and you can keep your printer on as this will override the settings of your printer.
- A banner will be displayed on your store page
Steps to open your store after having the extended closure turned on:
- Tap the Shop OPEN / CLOSED button
- Toggle the Extended closure button
- Your store will open if it is usually open at that time and the Auto-Open/Closed feature is turned on or you can toggle your store to open as you normally would.
